Amelia Knight cosmetics, who supply cosmetics to Asda, Primark and many other large retailers have invested in another Modular Rollerbed System for vans (MRS Van), bringing further efficiencies to their deliveries. Their cosmetic products are moved in metal containers which sit on pallets to various locations. The MRS Van system allows the heavy pallet to be easily rolled in and out of the van.

Amelia Knight cosmetic products are moved in metal containers which sit on pallets to various locations. They previously used a traditional method of straps and ropes to load and unload. This method of loading is time consuming and can be dangerous, as well as potentially causing product damage.

Now with MRS Van, they have reduced loading times, provide safe loading conditions for their drivers and no van damage.

The van was supplied by Matt Walker from the Volkswagen Van Centre in Stoke, the MRS Van system was supplied from stock and fitted in just a few hours, so by the next day the van was on the road making deliveries.

This is the third system they have fitted for their transport, doing 6 loads per day.

Arriving at the unloading destination the container on the pallet is simply rolled to the back of the van and lifted out with a fork lift truck, the whole process taking about a minute whereas before this would mean dragging out with ropes potentially causing injury and taking around 20 minutes.

As a result of Amelia Knight implementing one of our modular rollerbed systems into their van fleet, their loading and unloading operations have become more efficient, and safer.

Instead of using a traditional method of straps and ropes to load, Amelia Knight can now simply roll the load to the back of the van and unload it using a forklift. This process only takes one minute, compared to their previous method which was taking 20 minutes. In addition, this is a much safer process, and better protects their products, van, and driver.

Amelia Knight will now only use MRS Vans in their delivery fleet.
